Creating Change Together

Get to know Shelby

About

Shelby didn't plan on becoming someone who would support others with their relationships. But between her own relationship, the people who kept finding their way to her to talk through theirs, and years spent explaining hard things clearly for a living, it turned out to be the work she couldn't stay away from.

She believes relationships of any structure aren't about following a script. They're about communicating clearly, knowing what you actually need, and building something that genuinely fits the people in it. No relationship structure is the "correct" one. The right one is the one that's honest.

Shelby has traveled and lived in multiple countries, and that kind of immersion has a way of loosening your grip on any one "right way" to do things, relationships included: what counts as normal, appropriate, or even romantic shifts dramatically from one culture to the next, and living inside those differences shapes how she approaches every relationship structure she works with.

She has an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, an Educator Credential from San Diego State University, and a B.S. in Engineering from California State University, Chico. She is currently pursuing formal certification, building on years of hands-on experience helping people communicate more honestly in the relationships that matter to them.

Judgment-free, always. Whether you're monogamous, polyamorous, or still figuring it out.
